All digital media (including images and video footage) available on Pixcision Stock is protected by international copyright laws and intellectual property rights. When you purchase media from this website, you are not buying the image or video itself; you are purchasing a non-exclusive license to use that asset under specific, defined conditions.

1. Customer Responsibility for License Selection

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to review, understand, and select the correct licensing tier appropriate for their intended use prior to completing a transaction.

Pixcision Stock offers distinct licensing options (e.g., Personal, Standard Commercial, Extended Commercial, or Editorial). Each license governs:

Where the asset can be displayed (e.g., social media, print, television, digital advertising).
The distribution volume or print run limitations.
Whether the asset can be used on merchandise intended for resale.

Before finalizing your checkout, you must ensure that the license tier selected fully covers the scope of your intended project, campaign, or publication.

2. Legal Boundaries and Copyright Infringement

Utilizing any Pixcision Stock media outside the explicit boundaries of the license tier you purchased constitutes a breach of contract and copyright infringement under UK and international law.

Unauthorized Commercial Use: Using an asset covered under a "Personal" or "Editorial" license for commercial gain, brand advertising, or corporate promotional materials is strictly prohibited and legally actionable.
Audit Rights: Pixcision Stock reserves the right to audit the use of our digital assets to ensure compliance with our licensing agreements.

If your project expands or its parameters change post-purchase, it is your responsibility to contact us immediately to upgrade your license before the broader usage begins.

3. No Alterations or Refunds for Incorrect Selection

Because our digital media assets are instantly downloadable, we cannot retroactively alter, downgrade, upgrade, or refund a license tier once the file has been downloaded.

If you realize you have purchased the incorrect license before downloading the file, please do not initiate the download and contact us immediately at hello@pixcision.co.uk to rectify the order. Once a download has commenced, the transaction is final, and a new, correct license must be purchased for any expanded use.

4. Indemnification

By purchasing from Pixcision Stock, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pixcision Stock and its creator from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the downloaded media or your failure to secure the appropriate license tier for your project.
